Doczaar

Copyright & DMCA.

Doczaar sells original student work. If something here infringes your copyright, tell us and we will deal with it.

01

Send a takedown notice

Email our designated copyright agent at dmca@doczaar.com. We review every notice and act promptly on valid ones — the material is removed or access to it is disabled.

This process covers notices under the DMCA and equivalent international regimes.

02

What your notice must include

For us to act on it, a takedown notice needs all of the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (or a representative list, if the notice covers several works).
  • The URL of the allegedly infringing material on Doczaar, so we can find it.
  • Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

A notice missing any of these may be rejected — we will tell you what was missing so you can resubmit.

03

What happens next

When we remove material, we notify the person who uploaded it. If you uploaded material and believe the removal was a mistake, email a counter-notice to dmca@doczaar.com including: identification of the removed material and where it appeared, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or any district where Doczaar operates, if you are outside the US), and your signature. We may restore the material unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action about it.

Accounts of repeat infringers are terminated, as our Terms of Service set out.
